Hello Titans! This is a reminder that HTRS does not have school tomorrow, Monday, September 5th AND has a Late Start (10:00 Start) Tuesday, September 6th. Busses will run 2 hours late and breakfast will not be served on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, August 30th the HTRS volleyball game vs. Lewiston is a home game. There will be no JV. The varsity match will begin at 6:00 pm
Booster Button pictures will be taken Thursday, August 25th. This is for both high school and junior high students.
Highway 75 traffic is being detoured through Humboldt because tracks are closed in Dawson. If you have a child that walks home and has to cross the 4 lane please consider walking with them until this problem is resolved.
HTRS football team will be playing at Omaha Brownell-Talbot Friday, August 26th. The game will be streamed on their YouTube Channel. Seating is limited, so bring lawn chairs and/or blankets to sit on.
Fall picture day is Tuesday, August 30th Mandy Hall will be taking the pictures and will provide a link once the photos are ready. Bring your uniforms and your smile!
Good Morning Titans! This week we will begin assessing our students with the NWEA MAPs test in grades K-11th. Attached are some helpful testing tidbits to make the testing days go smoothly. Thank you for helping your student have a great start to the school year!

The HTRS football team is hosting a Gatorade scrimmage tonight at 5:00 p.m. A Gatorade donation is your ticket. Hope to see you all there! Go Titans!
Show Choir practice starts tomorrow, Thursday, August 18 at 7:00 a.m. in the music room.
The HTRS high school band will be marching at the Cobblestone Parade in Falls City on Saturday, August 20th and at the Johnson County Fair parade on Sunday, August 21st.
Students should arrive at school on Saturday by 9:45am, the bus will leave at 10:00am. Students should arrive at the school on Sunday by 3:45pm, the bus will leave at 4:00pm.
Students will be wearing their marching band uniform.
Please bring money for food as we will have time to grab something to eat after both parades.
HTRS Open House is tonight 4:00pm-7:00pm. See you there!
Welcome Back! Please complete the forms in your PowerSchool parent account. Laptops for grades 6th - 12th will be handed out the first day of school. Laptop Pledge will need to be completed in PowerSchool. Students in middle and high school have two option: Take Home - Laptop Pledge in PowerSchool and pay $35 or Check Out of Library - Laptops will be checked out in the morning and checked back in at the end of school. Welcome Back!
The fifth grade band instrument display night will take place Monday, August 15 from 5:30 to 6:30 in the lunchroom.
