Summer Lunch Program to begin May 20th.
The HTRS 4th Grade participated in today’s Arbor Day celebration that was held at the Titan Diner. The students participated in a poster contest. Winners were 1) Charles Wamsley 2) Savannah Bittner 3) Emrie Lamb 4) Hank Glathar and 5) Wyatt Guenther. Pictured with the students are Humboldt Tree Board members Eugene Volker and Jaymie Nolte.
The Pioneer Conference High School Track Meet schedule has changed for Saturday, April 27th. The Track Meet will now begin at 8:00 AM. Please see the schedule for the order of events.
The Falls City Swim Team has invited HTRS students to join them this summer. The deadline has been extended so fill out the information or contact them. They are willing to work with your schedule. Thanks!! Happy Swimming!!
The high school track meet tomorrow will be at Pawnee City. It was originally scheduled for Lewiston, but they are not quite ready to host yet. Field events begin at 9:30 a.m.
Reminder Family STEAM Night is Monday! 5:00 - 7:00 in the new gym area. We will have a raffle drawing and meal deals for $5 available. Proceeds go to next year's afterschool program! Demonstration by Edgerton Explorit Center at 5:30

The Richardson County Spelling Bee was held on Monday, February 12th at Falls City Sacred Heart. HTRS sent several participants. The fifth and sixth-grade participants were Jayden Dunham, Sawyer James, and Tate Dunekacke. Jayden Dunham placed 2nd and Sawyer James placed 4th in this division.
The seventh and eighth-grade participants were Lexus Tichy, Nate Burns, and Drake Blacketer. Lexus Tichy placed 2nd in this division.
HTRS does not have school tomorrow, February 2nd. The staff will be attending the Engaging Educators Conference at Peru State College. Have a great weekend!

STEAM Family Night, December 14
Congratulations to Jakob Manning on being selected for the Doane Fall Festival of Winds. The students rehearsed music all day on the campus of Doane University in Crete and performed an afternoon concert. Well done!
Tuesday, October 31st is the last day to shop in person at the HTRS Book Fair. If you can't make it in person feel free to shop online. Books from the book fair make great stocking stuffers for Christmas!
