The 2025 MUDECAS Basketball Tournament will take place next week in Beatrice. The girls were seeded 8th in the A division and will take on Johnson-Brock Monday night in the Auditorium at 6:30 p.m. The boys are seeded 3rd in the B division and will take on Sterling Tuesday afternoon at 4:15 p.m. at Beatrice Middle School. Go Titans!

Due to the predicted snow storm, tomorrow's basketball game times have been move ahead two hours. The boys JV game will now start at 10:45 a.m. Girls varsity will start at 12:00 p.m. with varsity boys to follow. The 2000 HTRS team will be honored at halftime of the boys game.


Due to the predicted snow storm this Saturday evening and Sunday, the youth wrestling meet is being postponed to a later date.


The boys and girls basketball teams are in action Saturday in Humboldt vs Meridian. Go Titans!


Congratulations to the Lady Titans on winning the "B" division of the holiday tournament at Weeping Water. The Lady Titans defeated Parkview Christian and Conestoga to win the tournament. Congratulations to the boys for placing 3rd in the "A" division. The boys dropped their first game to Johnson-Brock and won their second game over Parkview Christian. Go Titans!


Please join us on January 4th, as we honor the 2000 Class C2 State Championship basketball team. The team will be recognized at halftime of the boys' varsity basketball game vs Meridian starting at 3:30.


Makena Dunlap, a sophomore at HTRS, has just been chosen for publication. Her poem, "Grandma's House," will be featured in the upcoming Fines Lines (winter edition).
This organization is Nebraska based, and they receive submissions from all over the United States. What an honor for one of our students to achieve!

Recently Mrs. Bowen's 8th graders participated in the VFW Dalton McHugh 5289 Patriot's Pen Contest. We had three winners from HTRS.
